I just took action on Our Heartfelt Thanks! on AHA's You’re the Cure website.
Dear Theresa,
Thank YOU! Because of all your hard work we have been able to make real progress in our fight for heart healthy and stroke free Massachusetts!
Because of you:
All babies born in Massachusetts hospitals are now screened for congenital heart defects.
More smokers will quit and less kids will start their addiction because of an increased tobacco tax.
Our cities and towns will think about walking & biking when they build or fix roads—we call this “complete streets” and important language was included the Transportation Bond Bill.
Communities will have more access to fresh fruits and vegetables because fresh food financing was in the Environment Bond Bill.
All of these efforts will help make our Commonwealth more heart-healthy and stroke-free! And they only happened because of advocates like you across the state.

Tell Congress: Healthy School Meals Matter
The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote soon on a funding bill that would seriously set-back the progress being made to improve the quality and nutritional value of foods sold in schools. With 90% of schools successfully meeting the common-sense nutrition standards for school meals, we must fight for the progress to continue. Tell your Representative to put children's health before politics!I just took action on Tell Congress: Healthy School Meals Matter on AHA's You’re the Cure website.
