TC ECKSTEIN CAFE TV TEAM HEARTWALKERS- REGISTER TO WALK WITH OUR TEAM TODAY!

Hi TC,

Thank you for volunteering to lead a team for . You’re a hero to people struggling with heart disease and stroke! The funds you and your team raise save lives right here in our community.
So... let's get started!
FIRST, TELL THEM WHY YOU WALK. Log in and share your story by personalizing your team and fundraising pages! Sharing your story is the best way to inspire others. Everyone has a “why.” When you share yours, people can connect with you and what you’re trying to accomplish.
THEN, RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT! Send recruiting emails, hold an informational meeting, talk up the Heart Walk and post an invite on your social networks.
GUIDE THEM through the registration process. Remind them of major deadlines — they’ll definitely appreciate it!
CHALLENGE each member on your team to follow you and share why they walk on their personal fundraising page.
TC, we want you to have a successful and rewarding Heart Walk. Let us know how we can help! The more of us who walk, the more of us live healthier lives, free of heart diseases and stroke.
Thank you again for your leadership and commitment to Heart Walk.

I NEED YOU ON MY HEARTWALK TEAM, PLEASE REGISTER AT THIS LINK:

THANK YOU FOR YOU LOVE AND SUPPORT

National Institutes of Health (NIH) research

No, I'm not talking about the election.

Hi Theresa,
No, I’m not talking about another Presidential debate, but the stakes are just as high. Right now Congress is working on the next budget and determining its priorities. It’s crucial to make sure National Institutes of Health (NIH) research is on top of the list, but that won’t happen unless we fight for it.
Last year, we achieved a major win when Congress gave the NIH an additional $2 billion in funding. But we cannot be satisfied with just one victory. As long as heart disease and stroke continue to kill too many Americans, we cannot stop fighting for a cure.

Make sure your legislators know that NIH is still your top priority!

TC ECKSTEIN CAFE TV TEAM HEARTWALKERS

Sign up 10 team members this week and everybody wins!

Hi TC,

You’re the motivator-in-chief, the fearless fundraiser and Team Captain for the Western MA Heart Walk/ New 5K Run.
So we know you’re up for this challenge.

Recruit 10 or more people this week.
The bigger your team, the better your chances of reaching your team goal of $1000.00.
Why do we walk? Yolanda is why:
I suffered sudden cardiac arrest while at the gym. I was rushed to the hospital. After many tests. I was diagnosed with tachycardia arrhythmia. I had surgery for an implantable cardioverter defibrillator, which monitors my heart rate and rhythm and provides the necessary amount of shock to my heart if needed.
Rather than dwell on ‘why me,’ I learned what I can do NOW to continue to live a happy, healthy life. Teaching my children to care for their health is a high priority. I am blessed and thankful to be alive.”
To make recruiting members as easy as possible, we’ve provided sample emails in your online headquarters. Just personalize and press send! Invite family, friends, neighbors and colleagues.
Let’s see what you’ve got. Lives are on the line.
Good luck,

Traci Heath, Director

P.S. FUNDRAISING TIP: Ask each new member to set their own fundraising goal. Tell them to think “big.” Together, we’ll help them reach it.
